A Christ-Centered Church

Being Christ centered means Jesus is why we exist. We hold that Jesus of Nazareth was a real historical figure. He is revealed in the Bible to be God in the flesh, to have lived a perfect human life. Jesus is our representative and offered his life as a sacrifice to pay for all the debt owed to God because of sin. We trust the testimony of eye witnesses who recorded that they were with Him in His ministry, they saw Him die by crucifixion, buried in a tomb, saw Him alive again and witnessed Him ascend into the sky to never die again. They declared Jesus to be God, King, and Savior of all for all ages. Jesus is whom we follow. We are called by Him to enter into a personal relationship with God through His Holy Spirit. We pattern our lives after His life. We take our orders from only Him. He promises to come back one day and take all who are His to a new and perfect dwelling place. He says He will be with us and work with us until He comes back. Our purpose is to continue His ministry and teaching on earth and to tell as many people as we can about Him. He is our Savior, God, King, and Friend.
